10+ years of experience in commercial and residential design
Designing people’s homes is a privilege that I take with care and sensitivity. I place an emphasis on getting to know my clients in order for me to truly understand their needs and wants. I strive for designs that are not only beautiful, but also functional, and renders an environment for living well.
My personal projects are typically local residences in the Bay Area Peninsula. They vary from ADU’s, partial renovations, and brand new construction. I’m involved in the design process from start to finish, all the while carefully managing and nurturing client, contractor, and consultant relationships.
Prior to residential design, I spent the first five years of my career working for Gensler and Studio O+A in the commercial field. Being in the mecca of Silicon Valley, my focus was mainly in Workplace specifically in the Tech practice area. I designed large scale office interiors for clients like Google, Salesforce, Microsoft, and Nike among many others. I transitioned into residential design when my husband Kosta and I welcomed our daughters Penelope and Niki. I consulted for a boutique luxury design/architectural firm where I gained most of my experience in high-end residential design. I love to apply my diverse expertise in the design process in every project I touch.
I grew up in the Philippines in a tiny home surrounded by rice fields and tropical vegetation. My love for design was inspired by playing house in the backyard from a very young age. With limited resources, I learned to use my imagination to create spaces through my drawings and sketches during my past time after school. Until this day, I can’t resist the urge to doodle or hand render on a piece of paper just for fun.
I believe in balancing work with leisure as a way to nurture creativity and to get the most out of life. During my free time, I love to read fiction, cook, travel with my family, and practice yoga.
